About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher – Electrical to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality vocational education and training in electrical programs, supporting students to achieve their learning and career goals.
KeyResponsibilities
- Deliver and assess vocational electrical training using diverse adult learning methods across various learning environments
- Support student success through engagement strategies, accurate record-keeping, and pastoral care, including follow-up on absences
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry in curriculum development, validation, moderation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and guidance in specialist areas, including mentoring staff and advising on student and employer training needs
- Stay current with industry and educational trends, integrating new technologies and practices into teaching and learning
- Promote programs and build partnerships through community engagement, marketing, and facilitating vocational placements
Skills and Experience Required
- Victorian Electrical A Grade License
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Demonstrated teaching experience and understanding of adult learning principles
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and ICT skills
- Ability to innovate and adapt to emerging needs
- Knowledge of VET compliance and quality assurance frameworks
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid VictorianEmployee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
